This band has performed extensively from Richmond to Norfolk, Virginia. Our specialty is performing the original big band sounds of Ellington, Dorsey, Basie, Goodman, and Kenton from the great American swing era.  Additionally, we have a beautiful female vocalist who works well with our style of swing music, and the band is extremely versatile and adaptable. A broad array of styles from sentimental to swing to Latin sounds are available for your dancing or listening pleasure.
 The Williamsburg Swing Band is an extension of the Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra Big Band consisting of six musicians who pride themselves in performing music of the highest quality for distinctive social functions.Trumpet, saxophone, trombone, guitar, bass and drums fill the air with beautiful music. The sweet jazz sounds of highly recognizable tunes make any special occasion a wonderful experience. We pride ourselves in the ability to bring live music and first class entertainment to weddings, anniversaries, corporate functions or any social gathering imaginable.
 As an added venue, we also work with The Richmond Soul and Swing Express to bring your event a more contemporary sound. If Motown, soul, blues and swing are what you want then look no further. When the soulful sounds of Otis Redding, the Temptations, Four Tops and others are required, then the Richmond Soul and Swing Express is exactly what will fill the bill. Glenroy Bailey is a fabulous vocalist and flute player. The deep soul rhythms of the Richmond Soul and Swing Express will have you dancing the night away.
